This Toyota MR2 was a project I took on with a friend who wanted to Hillclimb it . as time went on this little car became less of a road car and much more dedicated to the cause! It eventually ended up consistantly a podium finisher agaist clubman cars in the 1.6 litre class and was by far the fastest naturally aspirated car of it's type in the state if not the country! Toyota Mr2 is a 1989 model this car won 3 Australian hillclimb Championships
Lancia Fulvia Mk1. Narrow V4 1200 cc overhead engine this is a very clean and original car that is a very good example of the model.
This Mazda MX5 SP was another interesting project. It was mildly modified but very effective, the boost had been increased by only 3psi, Koni externally shocks fitted with lower rear standard springs and Standard front springs. Heavy duty stabilizer bars were fitted but we settled on a custom made rear bar a little heavier than standard but adjustable. Custom made Spyder chassis braces were fitted and a Torsen diff! This great little car won most of the events entered culminating in a very close 2nd place in the 2006 Australian Hillclimb Championship in it's class! The winning car was a 1974 2.7 Carrera which i had done the great majority of developement, the margin was a mere 100th of a second!
This is a very original 3.0 litre CSI BMW
